Generates 4 to 5 plates of food and places them on nearby surfaces. The most common result is generating plates of home-made bread and a turkey. Got dirty dishes? Get Dish Wish, and your dirty dishes will be wished away. What happens if you wish for your dishes to disappear when there aren't any dishes? Do you get another wish? You want the sky to open up, and a deluge of bright, shiny, and sparkly things to pour down into your waiting coffers.
You want a torrential river of precious gems to flow across the face of your lot. You want a flood of treasure to overwhelm you and your family, so that you can bathe and wallow in wealth. You want a Rain of Riches. But be careful, because depending on your state of mind, you just might get exactly what you ask for. Generates many treasure boxes and piles of jewels and gold coins on the lot that can be sold for various prices. Opposites attract, as do Sims with similar interests and tastes.
But why waste your time figuring out the criteria for attraction when you can just as easily craft a Polar Attraction charm? Forget about the small talk.
Don't worry about how people will react to that inappropriate joke. With Polar Attraction at your side, everyone will think you're witty. Ghosts got you down? Well, they're probably there to stay. So, as they say, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Wriggle out of your skin, and into a green world where walls don't matter, and spooking silly Sims is all the fun you need. Be careful not to cast this spell in direct sunlight, or misspeak your incantation, as who knows what could happen if you asked a charm to make green things that shed their skin.
Ghosts created by the charm cannot be told to walk through walls, but will do so autonomously, like normal ghosts.
You don't want to work. You just want to play all day. But what if you could work, AND play all day? What if you could avoid the drone of your manager's voice, by lounging around the house all day, but still have all of your work get done? Well, for some people the answer is telecommuting, but for the more magically inclined Sims, there's Clone Drone.
Send you to work, while you stay home, but wait, which one are you? The clone will spontaneously combust if the caster is hungry when using the charm, or if the caster is unemployed or in the Fame career. The clone will eventually disappear.
While a Sim can marry a clone by using "The Big Question" spell on it, the clone will still disappear after a while. The clone may not return from work if the lot is exited and re-entered while it is at work. This tried and tested spell borders on horticultural heaven. It restores vim and vigor to each and every agricultural add-on around your home. If everyone used this charm, there wouldn't be any need for gardeners.
Don't tell them that though. Sets a raining cloud above all plants, vegetable crops and vineyard crops on the lot and makes them fully grown instantly.
If the caster is in a bad mood and if gnomes are on the lot, they will come to life, kick the caster, and kill all plants on the lot. Mood is a bit of a mystical thing. What really puts us in a bad mood? Sometimes it can be a single event, or a series of events, or an interaction with someone else who's in a bad mood, but Magical Mood allows you to change all that.
Sims just simply won't listen to reason when they're in a bad mood. So get 'em in the green with a quick injection of Magical Mood. Meet Wally O'Wisp , a magical specter who wants to rid the world of all things unclean, broken, or at all displeasing. He's always happy to help with everything around your house, but grumpy Sims should beware his evil twin sister Molly.
Summons the cleaning spirit Wally O' Wisp to quickly clean the caster's house. Summons Wally O' Wisp's sister Molly , who will cause havoc in the house if the caster is in a bad mood or has a low Neat score. So you've found the secret that every truly famous Sim has kept hidden for centuries. You knew there had to be some purpose for those disturbing black roses, well here it is: The Price of Fame. This is the short cut to the top, the easy road. Use it wisely, and don't become obsessed with your own fame.
Changes the caster into the Fame career track, at a star level of 4. Causes five Obsessed Fans to appear near the caster, if the caster already has Star Power of 3 stars or higher.
Requires The Sims: Superstar expansion pack. Kids want to be chameleons too. Here's their own smaller version of one of their parents' favorite transformation spells. A 'skeleton' costume is available to both boys and girls, a green goblin costume is available to boys, and a genie wizard costume is available for girls. You're a kid. You like cakes. But your parents won't let you use the stove.
You're getting sick of the bag of chips and the pizza. Forum rules When your story is completed, please send a PM to Blamsart letting her know the story has been completed. Stories that need to be moved to the Graveyard should still be reported as usual. It was a magical item you had to earn, and until , I had no idea it was anything more than decorative. You'll find links to the two parts of my quest below.
It's not really a 'story' as such, but I thought people might find it interesting - it was definitely one of my favourite things I've ever done with the sims! Now you make me want to install TS1 on my computer and open it up lol. Re: The Quest for the Beanstalk by sueplayssims » Mon Jul 22, pm That was super fun to read and definitely made me laugh! The bit at the end got me in the feels I must say!
The Oasis Springs Society. I had Sims 1 back in high school, but my brother lost all the disks somehow? I've thought a few times about trying to get my hands on a copy but they're pretty expensive now and like you said, a lot of work to get working.
Anyway, thank you for sharing this! I had no idea what the ending would be but the nostalgia and the surprise were so worth it! You can call me Roxanne. Re: The Quest for the Beanstalk by mojot89 » Tue Jul 23, am Taube: im pretty sure theres a collector edition on origin with all the expansions. Then you dont have to worry about the hassle of discs and stuff Edit: I lied. It's not on there anymore.
The first game was a massive success and many people myself and my wife included were excited to see how they would expand upon the formula. Well even though this game as I write this is well over a decade old, it holds up very well. Instead The Sims 2 like what came before it has you create the story. This game features some things that make the lives of The Sims feel more real, fulfilled, and just overall better.
While it is not a groundbreaking feature now at the time this was a really big deal. While it has been surpassed why what would follow on from it. At the time The Sims 2 was a game that improved on its predecessor and all of its expansion packs in pretty much every way you could imagine.
There is a ton of stuff you can use in this game to make your dream home, new scenarios, jobs, neighborhoods and there is just a ton of stuff to keep your Sims and the others that are around busy. The visuals of the game are much improved from the first game. The only negative that I really have about the visuals is that sometimes the children and grandchildren can just look the same.
I do feel they could have done a bit more to make offspring look like they are related, but not at the expense of just all looking exactly the same. The soundtrack is what you would expect from a game in this series. I would not say that The Sims 2 has the greatest soundtrack I have ever listened too. However, they have made it very easy to add your own music to the game if you want so that is always an option. The overall sound effects of the game are great and when a Sim talks, freaks out, gets embarrassed, or anything like that it always makes me smile.
As this is a game that I played a great deal during my college years with a girl that would become my wife. The Sims 2 is a game that has a lot of nostalgia for me, I fired the game up recently to see if it held up and I had a lot of fun.
Yes, the newer games in the series have greatly expanded upon what is on offer here. However, this is still a really fun time and well worth taking a look at. How do you go about creating a sequel to the biggest-selling PC game franchise of all time? Although each lot is themed to a specific alignment, there are no restrictions as to which lot witches can visit. Additionally, although not a secret lot, Belladonna Cove contains an intentionally hard to find residential lot called Watervista Palace , modelled on Baba Yaga 's hut.
The Sims 4 features secret lots which can be accessed through specific interactions with certain objects. Once visited, the secret lots can be travelled to directly from their portal. Sims with Level 7 wellness skill can teleport to the secret lots while meditating if they have previously visited the lot. Willow Creek 's secret lot is Sylvan Glade , and it can be travelled to through interactions with the Sylvan Tree located in Foundry Cove , adjacent to the Crick Cabana lot.
In order for the portal appear, a Sim must first "Water" the tree, then "Compliment Leaves" and then "Talk". Entering the portal triggers a text adventure, which must be completed in a specific manner in order to travel to the lot. Sylvan Glade is a unique world that contains numerous plants, logs to search for Frogs, and a pond containing the rare Treefish, which can only be caught in Sylvan Glade.
It's required to complete the Fish collection. Sylvan Glade is always safe for vampires to visit because it is in perpetual twilight. Oasis Springs ' secret lot, called Forgotten Grotto , can accessed through an abandoned mine entrance found behind Desert Bloom Park , and Affluista Mansion. Each of the entrances requires Handiness of level 10 to be pried open, and become accessible.
Similar to its Willow Creek counterpart, Forgotten Grotto has a text adventure that has to be completed before you can proceed, and the place contains a lot of Rocks to complete your Fossils, Metals, Crystals and Elements collection.
It also has a unique fish, the Batfish, which can only be caught there and is required to complete the collection. The Forgotten Grotto is always safe for vampires to visit because it is in a cave and sheltered from the sun. Granite Falls ' secret lot is called Hermit's House and can be accessed via a shrub hole in the forest surrounding Granite Falls Forest. Hermit's House contains a lake next to a waterfall with a fishing spot along with exclusive fish. The place also includes rocks, where Sims can collect crystals and metals, and special insects exclusive to the secret area.
The hermit is also located here, whom Sims can talk to. Sixam is a secret lot included in The Sims 4: Get to Work.
Sims can travel to the planet by constructing and upgrading a Wormhole Generator whilst in the Scientist career, or by upgrading a Rocket Ship with a Wormhole Generator. Scientists may receive an assignment to travel to the planet, where an alien party will be held in their honour.
Aliens can be found inhabiting Sixam, and three unique kinds of otherworldly flora can be found and harvested. Two new crystals and metals can only be found on Sixam, the former of which can derive a new Element.
There is also a six-piece collection of Geodes which can exclusively be found on the planet, which give Environment boosts when placed in a house.
Sixam is always safe for vampires to visit because it is too far from the sun and in perpetual night. Sims and spellcasters can travel to this realm by a portal located in Glimmerbrook , alternatively all spellcasters are given an object known as the Glimmerstone which grants teleportation to the realm where ever they are.
Spellcasters and other magical enthusiasts can be found inhabiting the Magic Realm, particularly the three sages.
